I am very much looking forward to coming on board with the Executive as the new vice-president. I want to initially concentrate my efforts in a few areas:
Seek out those who should be members of this Association and recruit,
-
Assist in moving those who are ready, along to active status,
-
Maintain close liaison with student members across the province,
- Generally assist the president and others in the running of the Association.
I have been off the board for a year and I am ready to come back and to contribute. I can't do it all alone however. For those of you acting as a sponsor for a new member please stay in touch with them and me! If you come across someone who isn't currently a member but should be, talk to them, then relay the information to me and I will follow up if necessary.
I have always been very impressed with the sharing nature of this Association. You are all good people and busy folks, but please continue to put back into the association. Whether it's an article of interest for the newsletter or finding a new member, or taking on some part of an Association project please join in. Of course we have all sent in our membership renewals so I don't have to mention that? Also, please send in your registration for the upcoming National Convention, it promises to be a great educational opportunity.
Thanks and I look forward to seeing you at the National Convention and at various other gatherings and functions over the next year.
